I had a considerable amount of tar from a new patch of highway on the side of my truck, so I bought a can of this stuff and it does not work exactly as advertised. Once you spray it on you must give it 3-5 minutes before you rinse the area thoroughly with water. After repeated applications I began seeing some success, but this was after numerous applications and it took quite awhile to see some results, but I would not recommend this product unless you really want to work to get the tar off and spend several hours in doing so. Just not satisfied with the ending results.

Can't clean some yellow spots on the surface of my car. For some reason, it is effective for asphalt.

It’s good if you have some light tree sap residue but if you have really old thick tree sap residue, you’ll need to repeat the application several times before it’ll even budge. Other than that, it was really easy to use.

My son drove through fresh paint when crews were painting lines on the road and put a pretty heavy coat of paint on one side of his car. We tried petroleum jelly and WD-40 and they didn't touch the paint at all. I finally tried this and with some hard rubbing, it did a pretty good job of removing the paint. I used multiple times and then used a pressure washer and most of the paint, except for the thickest spots, came off. I was so glad as the road paint had looked horrible. There are some faint swirl marks which I'm not sure if they were caused by this or the high pressure spraying. It probably is not an issue if you don't spray it on 4 times to try to remove paint, but definitely try on a small spot first.

This went on easy. It works well

The whole back of my car was splattered with tar. it removed every spot. It starts to work within few seconds. I did it twice and it was all gone. I just used a microfiber cloth to wipe it off. Used a toothbrush to get between the letters.

Worked on hardened tree sap (that was there for several months) on hood of car!

Fantastic! Got rid of all the annoying little black tar spots on my car that I have tried scrubbing and picking previously without success.

Excellent product. It removed last year's baked-on sap without the waiting period and without any hard rubbing.It also finds any small cuts or cracks in your hands.

So far i'm not having much success with this.
