Q: Do you use soap and water to clean this?

I only use soap and water to clean the cloth when is has gotten very old and been used a lot. There is a treatment in or on the cloth which makes it pick up dust like a magnet. I do vacuum off the cloth between dustings and then when seems to not work as well any more, I will put in a bowl of water and swish around and then hang to dry. I have some that are over 20 years old. They are very soft and I will use them to polish furniture.

Q: how long does each cloth last?

Mine can last almost a whole year but then my house doesn’t get as dusty as when I had children living at home. I fold it several times and usually use just the one side each time. I also wash it and can still use it after that. I have used them for years and love them.

I believe there are 12 cloths in the package. They are worth the price. I have used this product for almost 40 years. Other people who responded in the past have used them even longer.

Q: What is the difference between the One Wipe and the dusting cloth and why the big difference in price?

To me the dusting cloth picks up more dirt while it also leaves a shine to your furniture as if you have just polished it with a furniture polish.
