Generally it seems fine, but it is a soft cable, all copper colored. There's a blue line printed in one side of the shield to show the polarization.If I want to buy another set of cables, I'll buy another brand, as I prefer the standard Silver/Copper colored cables.

This wire is a great value for the money. I used it for inside installation so unsure how it would hold up outdoors.

Seller was fine, Amazon was great with return. However, in my application it did not work well at all. It all started with a room rearrange, the original copper wire ran along the baseboard & had worked great for years but with room being refreshed we decided to conceal and run overhead. This required a longer run so I ordered this CCA wire and after connections were made we noticed a bad buzz in speakers and at times sounded like speakers had a blown tweeter. Checked connections, grounding, possible electric wiring interference and could not resolve the issue. Finally broke out original copper wire and ran it in several combinations and culprit was the CCA (copper clad aluminum) wire. Replaced with new low voltage copper 16 gauge wire and now sounds great, very clean!To reiterate the wire is as described but in a higher end home theater setting it was the wrong wire. This wire is probably great for auto and off the shelf home stereo but in the future I will stick with copper. Hope this helps.

This spool of speaker cable was used for two long (40+ feet each) runs during installation of a new Onkyo Receiver. No problems at all. Routed easily, stripped easily, attached to speakers easily, and the rear surround speakers sound great. Couldn't be happier. Saving the left over 20 Ft. for possible future use. Thank you.

Clear cover has a yellowish cast revealing some trivial thinning of plastic where the white wires are twisted less tightly every inch and a half or so. Some of these areas have slight kinks in one or two individual wires, but nothing that should affect sound quality. Occasional more minor kinks in copper wires as well. Great deal regardless. Each bundle is maybe 4mm or 1/6 inch wide.

Was what I needed to wire up home surround sound system. The wire comes in a box , which is really helpful. And although it is clear, there is a faint blue line on side to denote the negative side.

Seems to be of good quality. Can't beat the price for this size cable in this long of length. I haven't installed any yet but will soon. May update later.
