Carter has taken over my number 1 favorite writer!! His insight into the world of psychotic killers and murderous plans can't be beat by anyone!! His books are great to read as the chapters are short and lead the reader to "just read one more before I stop for the night." I have read all but 2 of his Robert Hunter books and I have already ordered the other 2!! I just can't say enough about Chris Carter and all the readers I know that I have recommended his books to feel the same and they are telling their friends and so on and so on!!

I read every one of the books issued up till this year and loved each one more then the next! However, with this one I have been having trouble staying awake. It seems miles away from his usual imaginative writing style. Was it ghost-written by any chance?! I have gotten half way thru and am very tempted to just give it a miss from then onwards. With the only thing stopping me from moving on to sumthing else being the amount of money I spent on this book. Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't hesitate to spend this amount on a worthwhile read, and thats what I was anticipating. But with all due respect to the author, frankly ive read more gripping thrillers in the $2.99 range. Its just this particular book mind u, all the ones written up till now have been absolutely brilliantly imaginative and I have them all!

Chris Carter is definitely my favorite writer and I would love have been able to find him in the kindle store. I have read all his books and once I start I just cannot stop, This is a masterpiece. Detective Hunter and his partner Garcia (as always) keep you biting your nails.The killer is very patient and plans the murders to the last detail. Very graphic, very angry.I

Well...I thought this series of books couldn't get anymore gruesome. How wrong can one be. Lordy lordy, Robert Hunter I worry for you. You can't sleep! Well neither can I because of this page turner. Another solid disturbing novel from Chris Carter. Book 5 here I come.

There is no better suspense/thriller author than Chris Carter! Once I begin reading one of his books I can't stop until I am finished. His stories grab onto you and don't let you go for one second. Not for the faint of heart!! They would make amazing movies!!

Like all of his books this was awesome

the writing from the first page keeps you going till the last page. writeing is superpe.its the most awesome fiction and fantastic gruesom of seriel killing you will not find with any thriller writer of seriel killer novels.it makes hannible lecture look like a very silly fairy tale.stephen king has to take a long look at this writer chris carter to get back to his shock tatics.if your of the faint hearted do not read chris carter.but if you want to read the best writer of seriel killers today .buy all his books now .you will definetley not be dissapointed. well worth 5 stars john hart dublin ireland
