Works as intended!
Unit comes in a nice little box with a photo on the front to represent what's inside. Grab a 9 volt square battery load it into the unit and flip it on. Menu was a little hard to navigate but once you figure it out it's not that bad. Took it out and tested and it takes very little wind to get this thing spinning up. Found it to be a little loud when spinning so dont take it hunting with you to find out the wind direction but for kiting and other things it's an awesome little machine with a great price point!

Small, compact, accurate and easy to use.
I needed to measure output from an impeller driven air source. This worked perfectly due to its small diameter. Very sensitive and takes no effort to cause it to measure air flow. Compared very favorably to my numerous wind gauges. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to measure the wind or airflow. Great for flying kites with the grandkids and other activities when you need to measure the wind.

Nice Anemometer, Not so nice instructions
I bought his just to measure airflow from the registers in my home. The device can be adjusted to the area of the duct being measured. Instructions say something about holding three buttons, and then you are on your own. Once you go to the reviews for similar products by other brands you will find a review that tells how to set this reading. Works well!

Basic but works
We bought this to test the air flow from a questionable bathroom exhaust fan. We were skeptical because the low price, but this thing work. It's very easy to use - pretty much self explanatory. Since it worked on the fan application, my husband has taken to keeping it in his truck when he needs to show customers how much air is flowing through their problem areas on their houses. It seems to be reliable.

Dose not test winds of 100+ mph
If you want to test wind speed of over 50 mph this won't otherwise product is simple to use!

this is not a dependable meter
it worked ok for about 2 weeks. then the meter was measuring but the reading would suddenly drop to 0.right on the 31th day after I received it, it completely stopped working. I had to insist to a supervisor to give me a refund. I threw this piece of crap in the trash.
