Excellent antenna
Easy to put together and worked perfectly after looking up where towers were.

no more cable TV!
This antenna works great so that we no longer have to pay those enormous cable bills. It will pull in about 15 channels in our location which is all we need.

These really do work!
I have been through a lot of antennas over the years including A big Winegard that cost over $100 years ago which was damaged in a snow storm, and one I had invested over $200 for with a special amplifier for fringe areas as well as a ham antenna style rotor. Neither of those setups compared in power to what I have now.In the photo you see the single antenna pointed away; that was the one I had been using up until today. I am in an area that is around 90 miles or so from some of the major network transmitters and while the single antenna worked for most of the time, stations would often drop out, and sometimes I could not receive them for hours at a time. But the worst part of these antennas in fringe areas is the rotor control built into the amplifier box that sits in the house. There is NO INDICATION at all as to which way the antenna is pointing nor for which way it is rotating. I found that lack of feedback irritating to say the least. And it is not just this antenna but ALL of these similar antennas I have had.My solution is as follows:- I purchased two additional antennas; the two Five Star antennas you see pointed towards the camera.- The "Tee" was made from 3/4" rigid EMT electrical conduit and fittings and modified with a 4th connection to hold the top antenna.- I cut the pins off the rotor connection before assembling the antennas. For the low cost of these antennas I am not concerned with the warranty. I then epoxied the rotor mechanism so the antennas could not rotate in the heavy winds we get here (sometimes over 70mph).- The three seprate coax leads each go their three separate amplifier/rotation/control boxes which came with each antenna.- The three outputs (one from each control box) were combined with an antenna combiner. The output of the combiner goes to the TV.So now I have the signal strength which is nearly three times that of just one antenna.I re-scanned my stations and got about 60 channels. I went through and it seems that they are all viable at this time, even though I will be 'hiding' some of them. I am getting some stations from the north which are generally local stations, and the major network stations among others from the south. all without using a rotor. At this time, the only negative I can say about the Five Star antennas (and why I give them 4 stars) is that the output cable from the amplifier to the TV is a fixed length and cannot be removed from the amplifier, so if it does not reach the TV you would need a Coax double-male connector and a separate length of coax. If that cable becomes damaged those of you who are handy and fearless and are armed with a soldering pencil may be able to solve that problem if it occurs. Still, I would have given it 4½ stars if I could.

Easy assembly and works well
Antenna works well and much of it is preassembled. First scan on my TV and I got 67 channels. Excellent value at $30!

Horrible Horrible Horrible!
Nothing worked as advertised! I normally research a prospective purchase to death...However this looked really cool, price was good, and features sounded perfect...I read a few Amazon reviews, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger...SMH 😕 I had just moved to a new rural location, and as I had cut the cord years ago I am somewhat savvy in figuring out the best way to pick up a decent signal! So I thought I should go ahead and update to something new with updated features! HOWEVER, a coat hanger would have worked better than this antenna!!! So after multiple failed attempts to make this thing do something..thats when I jumped back on-line and started researching the product thoroughly...which is when I found out it was listed in several articles and "DO NOT BUY LISTS" as an item to not purchase! So no worries Amazon's ease of return got me my money returned ASAP. IMO...DO NOT PURCHASE, ITS FLIMSY AND DOES NOT PICK UP A SIGNAL! OH AND THE COOL UPDATED FEATURE "TO ME" OF MOTORIZED ADJUSTMENT OF REMOTELY ROTATING THE ANTENNA, SO YOU DONT HAVE TO GO OUTSIDE AND CLIMB UP ON THE LADDER TO ADJUST, DIDNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO WORK!

Picks up alot of channels, decent product
It picks up a lot of channels, the rotor works well. The only problem that ive seen with the product is that it doesnt stay in place with the with the light weight mounting pole and small clamps they send with it, so if a fairly strong wind comes up, the channels are off and youll have to turn the antenna again

GREAT ANTENNA - WORKED WELL - BETTER THEN OTHERS I HAVE TRIED.
I bought this antenna to supplement my current Dish satellite service, because I was paying extra for our local channels add-oh package. With the Dish Hopper service, you can add an antenna and it will integrate the local, over-the-air channels right into the Dish program guide, and eliminate the need for the local channels add-on package from Dish.I mounted this antenna on a metal pole, up in my 3rd floor attic of the house and ran a cable down to the first floor, where my Dish Hopper is located. Then I ran the scan to search for and pickup local area, OTA channels.I was amazed that it was able to pickup over 60 channels and for a very wide area (going well over 100 miles.)Before I mounted it in my attic, I did test the antenna on the ground floor, and it got all of my immediate local area OTA channels (over 30 of them.) So even with the antenna on the ground floor, it still worked very well.So now, with having this great antenna supplementing my Dish satellite service, I can drop the local channel add-on package, and the antenna will pay for itself in just a couple of months. So it was well worth it.The antenna does a great job picking up ALL of my (very) wide area local OTS channels, and the HD channels look fantastic. I would highly recommend this antenna. Just keep in mind though, that the higher the antenna is, the higher the chances are of receiving more channels.I do recommend this antenna. Its worth every penny!
