I grew up eating these in England they where called XXX AS IN extra extra extra strong mints , easy way to explain it think of an Altoids the size of a Alka-Seltzer tablet size wise, but 15 times stronger than an Altoids

Tasty, but hardly as "strong" as claimed.
Summed up in the title: They're good mint candies, and I am partial to the texture, as they're more like giant Altoids than other mint candies. However, they're considerably less strong than a giant Altoid would be.
