Best GF Bread Period
Schar's Gluten Free Bread is the best GF bread ever, period. I don't know why Udi is so popular, except maybe that it's commonly available in some places, but I think the majority of Udi's products are pretty gross. Udi's texture is usually either gritty or too-dense and cake-like. Not so with Schar! Schar's bread is perfect, takes just like regular artisan bread. If you're used to Wonderbread.. this isn't gonna do it for you. It's not soft as marshmallow floof. Schar has a nice firm texture without being too dense or cake-like. It holds up well for sandwiches and toast. You can even make sandwiches the day before, and eat them the next day, and the bread is still firm and not soggy. We put mayo and mustard, and even cucumber on it! Schar doesn't disintegrate like other brands of bread. The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes there will be a large air bubble (or more than one) in a loaf, making some of the slices less usable. This has actually been less of a problem for me in recent years, although it's still a bit of an issue. Still absolutely FANTASTIC GF bread, highly recommended!

Wonderfully tasting GF bread!!
This is my first ever GF bread as I am starting a GF way of eating. The product is in an expected bread plastic inside which is a thicker plastic seal. The slices are about 80%of a regular slice size. It is a bit leas soft then regular sliced bread and I prefer that. I toasted it and ate with butter and some smoked salmon and loved it! Next day I tried it with butter only and than jam too, and it always tasted wonderful. I froze one of the two loafs but so far it is really great. I could eat sandwiches on this no problem at all. Like everything else I know that frequent use of same product may get a bit boring but for now so happy that I have a bread product taken care of! Yes, almost $19 for two loaves is crazy but there aren’t many options so for now I am willing to pay more.

Schar, the best GF bread on the market.
And amazingly well made product. I’ve had celiac disease for 20 years. I’ve tried every single one out there, including Judy’s. That has a big market share but Schar is much much better. Just trust me. It’s worth a little bit extra money.

Good fiber with decent texture and taste
Schar gluten free breads offer 5 grams of fiber for two pieces while only between 130-150 calories. Bread texture is pretty good; not soft but not hard and the taste is also good. It’s not my favorite of the gluten free breads but 5 grams of fiber is good for my diet.

My favorite GF bread brand
I love this bread so much! The texture of it is amazing. You can actually see the little air holes in it which is nice for gluten-free bread. Shar is the only brand of bread that I actually will buy in the store and I just love it. I love the rolls too.

One loaf of 2 was covered in mold when I opened the box and shipping bag it came in.
Did not like that 1 loaf with expiration date of March 3,2023, was covered in mold. Bread is very good normally and being gluten intolerant that is hard to find. And it's the size of regular bread. Also don't like there is no recourse with purchasing a food item. Don't know if the company will ever see this but their once happy purchasing customer is very unhappy with their product at this moment.Must update because I contacted customer service and immediately refunded the purchase price so you do have recourse if you receive moldy bread. I still purchase this bread and always freeze it and thaw when needed as not being loaded with preservatives it will mold if you don't eat a lot of bread.

Deliciously Perfect! (BUT SEE SAD UPDATE!!!😞)
Things I like: it's gluten free.☺💗 It is wrapped very well...no squashing, no holes, no out of dates, very fresh, and delicious. Fortunately my double order (two packs of two each), had NONE of the negative issues so many others had, so perhaps the issues are resolved well. The price is terrific. To two interesting concerns I don't understand: why WOULDN'T all gluten free breads be frozen anyway? To me, it's mandatory as a matter of course. And I always toast my gf bread, too, whether I'm eating it as a meal supplement or sandwiching.😇🌷🗽🎵Update:Feb.25, 2019 HOW DISAPPOINTING!!!😞 The price for these has almost doubled to an unreasonable price. Now I can't afford them at all!!!😞😞😞😞😞

Taste
It does not taste like bread, but if you toasted, I guess you can’t taste it
