Awesome product but you need way more than this to really make anything good

This silicone rubber is easy to use and durable. I make the molds and then use them over and over again! They can be stretched over parts of the shape making it perfect for the molds for my small resin sculptures.

I got about three gallons and used it to make a large brick mold. It worked well enough. Ruined one of the bricks because I didn't mix that area well enough and it just left a sticky residue that I can't really remove. Luckily it's a brick and I'm not too emotionally attached.Pros:Seems cheaper than alternativesBonds well enoughSimple 1:1 ratioCons:If you don't mix it well, it will never bond and stay horribly sticky and near impossible to remove from whatever you made a mold of.One of the containers was difficult to get everything out of, very viscous.

I bought this product to make molds for tiles I am making for a backsplash. The product itself worked fabulous. My only complaint is that when I opened the box, one of the bottles had leaked. I was still able to make molds, it wasn’t until I had used out of one of the bottles that I seen the crack in the bottle, this the mess upon opening the box.

UPDATE: The company responded and sent a whole new set! Great customer service.I purchased this product before and it worked great! So I purchased it again. It came a day late and when I got it, it would not solidify!!!! The inside of the molds are completely gooey! (Even after several days!!) I messaged them in hopes of getting a replacement (bc I didn’t want a refund) No answer/No response yet.

I ordered this kit to make a silicone mold of some clay carvings that I had done. The 1 gallon kit made one large mold for me and it worked out perfectly. I ordered a second batch and instead of getting the entire kit, all that I received were the two bottles. I sent a message to the company letting them know that I did not get the kit, but I really wasn’t that concerned because I didn’t need the extras. I did feel that since I paid for them that I should’ve got them, but whatever. When I poured , the two bottles together one bottle seem to pour out fine and the second bottle came out very slow and lumpy. I mixed them together in a 5 gallon bucket with a paddle mixer attached to a drill just like I did with the first batch. I made two more molds, smaller ones, just like the first . These two molds that I made are still gooey and sticky three weeks later. You can’t even touch them without having to wash gluey gunk off of your hands. I would recommend to not take the $75 risk and buy this product. It’s a shame, because I would be a regular customer And order at least a gallon of this per week. I never heard anything back from the company on my original complaint so I would imagine that they wouldn’t do anything to correct this problem. I had read some reviews where people said that it would not dry correctly, but I thought I would take a risk on this company , and now I feel cheated!

Great product. Easy to use, no heat required, bubbles let themselves out. Nice durable molds.
