No bruising of skin
These pen needles are fantastic for insulin injections. I don't even feel the "prick" of the needle. I purchase the 29 G 1/2" size. I have tried lots of different brands and sizes, these are the best. Some 31G have bent during injection so I went to a what I call stronger size. As you know you sometimes have to inject thru your clothing, and these do not bend even then. I used to purchase my needles from pharmacies, but they just got too expensive as I have to inject two different kinds of insulin multiple times a day. These are pain free and don't bruise my skin no matter where I inject. Amzon has them for a good price and I get them on Subscribe & Save. I recommend them.

Perfect
Perfect size that is often hard to find. I can only use these needles for my diabetic cat and I have found he responds best with these needles. He gets a proper dose and appears to not feel the injection, the perfect combination.
