I loved how shiny they looked and there was no chipping ...
My Mother had one of these buffers back in the 1950's. I was just a child so no nail polish for me. Instead she would buff my nails.I loved how shiny they looked and there was no chipping or peeling like some of the other girls. Now I bought this buffer and it works just like the one I remember. You use just a little buffing cream and start rubbing the buffer back and forth over your nails. Using the cream (which is a little gritty) also helps to remove the ridges that develop as I get older. It's so easy; I just buff while watching TV doing one hand between each set of commercials. I buff about three times a week and use the buffing cream only once a week. My nails look good. Also my cuticles are looking better and feeling softer . . . I think this is because the buffing increases the circulation to my nail beds. If you're concerned about cost the buffer will last forever and the small jar of buffing cream will last two or three years. Sure beats polish and remover costs and is healthier for your nails and hands.

It is as expected. Nice shape and does what it is supposed to do. Feel a little glamorous when I use it!I don't think I will have to replace it any time soon. I love my natural nails@If necessary, I would reorder.

The old school way
I used one of these "decades" ago but switch to the buffing boards. The boards are fine, but they need frequent replacing. I search nail buffing chamois and was pleased to find this at Amazon. The chamois itself is just like years ago. Unfortunately, the handle is kind of cheap and seems weak, so not sure how long it will last. Also, the original one had a curved (not flat) buffing surface. Still, it does give my nails a nice natural polish free shine. I've read buffing also stimulates growth!? Like anything, don't overdo it. Every few weeks or monthly for some personal pampering.

super nail Chamois Buffer, 7 Inch
I’m not sure if I like this buffer. The chamois layer on this buffer is quite thin. The chamois has cracks through the buffer. It does require a lengthy time to buff the nails, and I can’t seem to see a significant shine in my nail bed from this. I don’t know if I’d buy it again. The major plus about this item is the price point. Not too bad overall for the cost of the buffer.

DO NOT BUY !!!
Worthless piece of junk, and total waste of money. Arrived broken and customer service was lousy. Just threw it away.

DIY-Great tool.
Was getting Gels once a month. Financial change, now I need to do it myself. This is a great tool to help my natural nail build up strength again. It’s like shinning your shoes. The more you do it the better they look. Nice price.

This is GREAT. Works like it should.
I couldn't believe I found another exactly like I had bought just about 31 years ago. Last year my old one finally broke thru the Chamois. This is exactly like the Original Buffer. I use this with a Buffer Creme to get super shinny nails, without any polish of any kind. I also was years ago a Manicurist so I do know what I am doing. First of all to keep this lasting a long time, you do need to give it some soap and warm water now and then if you are using Buffing Cream. I wet it in warm to hot water, run a bar of good soap over it a couple times, work that in a bit...don't kill it, and give it a gentle rinse while gently rubbing the Chamois to release the soap and gunked up stuff. Let air dry overnight. Be Gentle and it will last you for years. When Buffing don't apply a lot of pressure or you will damage the Chamois. Just Buff the nail from side to side. I find gentle pressure and fast buffing works best for me. Too fast and I can heat up my nail...not good. I find this to be the Best Nail Buffer, from my experiences.
