Q: How to get the mouth to work? It only worked for a few verses now wont move at all.

Jack might have a defect. If the mouth still is not working & all instructions followed, I would exchange for another. Mine worked great and verses could be heard loud and clear with mouth working. I can not testify to multiple seasons of mechanical longevity since he was mistaken as a prowler by the dogs and did not see the New Year. Otherwise every mechanical part worked perfect and I even put it together by myself which by no means I have much patience or building skills. Happy Holidays to you
