My cat LOVES it!
My cat was diagnosed with hypokalemia and will need to be on a daily potassium supplement long term. I was skeptical that he would eat a powder mixed into his food, but didn't want to have to shove pills down his throat daily if I could avoid it, so I tried it. Turns out he LOVES the powder! Eats his canned food better with the powder in it, than plain. What a win for us both!

Cheaper than the prescription kind, and my vet approved
My dog needed potassium, quickly. My vet wrote a prescription, but that required several days for shipping. The vet approved this non-prescription version, which was less expensive and arrived overnight. Some reviewers have complained about black dots, (maybe bugs?) in the powder, but the jar I got was just fine.

Also for CATS
Works just like what the vet recommends/sells.But the label may seem misleading. Just got to make sure whatever supplements you need for your pets the description includes them.

Great stuff!
My cat seems to like the taste & I notice he has more energy. Highly recommend!

Start with just a little
First time I used too much and finicky kitty rejected. I changed to just a pinch, a tiny sprinkle for my CKD kitty into homemade food. It worked, thank goodness. Goodbye nausea and random kitty vomit and hello happy cat! Kitty has returned to eating regularly so I will continue to use as long as my finicky kitty will eat it.

It seems like other brands just finer powder
I bought this one because it was a little cheaper and I could get it on subscription. Critter doesn't seem to mind that it's not the same one I bought him previously. He doesn't seem to object to taste or smell. I haven't tried it myself of course so I can't rate "flavor", and no real obvious "scent" to me but I haven't shoved my nose in it. It is "micronized" or "powdered" much finer that the last brand that I bought. It seems to clump a bit when stirring into food. It would probably dissolve better if it were a slightly larger particle size. No change in critter's behavior, so I assume it's working the same as the more expensive brand.

The flavor can’t be that good
Because the cat makes a face. I mix this stuff into a bit of canned food and coax her to eat it. Sometimes I succeed. I don’t understand why there are black dots in this brown potassium supplement. I had previously used another brand (which I cannot find anymore), and the product was uniformly white and apparently more palatable to Madame.

Seems to work and easier than the gel
I mix the recommended dose in with our cat's spoonful of tuna and she eats it with no problem! Overall, much easier than orally giving her a syringe of the gel twice a day.
