These arrived on time. 1/2 size to usual quantity.
This looked a good buy as very hard to find tubs of cream of tartar. These are tiny tubs! The access opening is too small to get any spoon inside. I had to force the whole top off with a sharp knife & twisted it to open. Spilt some as it jerked. It’s very fresh & has a good. shelf life,& works well.

Excellent for baking
My jar arrived safely and promptly with a sell by date of 2023. I usually buy self raising flour for cake baking, but have recently resorted to using plain flour. I had bicarbonate of soda in my store cupboard, so needed cream of tartar to create baking powder. The pack recommended 2 parts cream of tartar to 1 part bicarbonate and I am so pleased with the results that I don’t think I’ll bother with self raising in future!
