I had a patch of dead skin from a cream I used, I believe or from scratching. It was creepy and raised. Both on my neck and chest. After a few uses the skin actually peeled off. The skin underneath is red and is now healing. The dead skin for the most part is gone and the skin is like soft new skin. The chest area needs a little more peeling. Dr Luke Maxfield recommended this product and it works great. I will now use it a few times a week to remove dead skin and keep the skin bright and smooth. Thank you

I purchased this initially to use on my face since I have a few small age spots. Instead I tried it on my hands which have lots of spots. After one use the spots faded a bit which I wasn't expecting. Also, the texture of the skin improved and tightened. Being 75 I want to look my best not younger and this product will definitely help. It's a keeper and is a Subscribe and Save item for me.

I have rosacea (thanks to all the products I’ve used trying to lighten hyperpigmentation / melasma!) so I avoid the worst rosacea areas when applying. This definitely gives skin an overall brightening and I have had skin peeling within 2-3 days after application. The peeling is mild and stops after 1-2 days. I use a very moisturizing skin regimen after use for at least 5 days - using an oil at night and a good moisturizer with a hyaluronic acid serum in the mornings. Followed by a mineral spf 50 that is mandatory if you have melasma - I wear sunscreen every day and reapply - rain or shine! No product will lighten melasma or age spots overnight. Typically it is 3-4 months before skins really turns over and you will start seeing lightening. Be patient! Photo added to show how the product can produce a light peel.

been using the L'Oreal Paris Bright Reveal Dark Spot Exfoliator for about two weeks now, and I’m seeing noticeable improvements in my skin. The exfoliator has a creamy texture with a light, fresh scent that makes it feel luxurious during my skincare routine. It’s not too abrasive, so it’s gentle enough for my skin but still provides a good level of exfoliation.After using it regularly, my skin feels much smoother, and my dark spots have started to fade a bit. I’ve also noticed a more even skin tone and a subtle glow. I use it 2-3 times a week and have had no irritation or dryness from it, which is great.

Why label this a peel when there is literally nothing to actually peel off? Put it on, wash it off, that's it. "Mask" maybe but peel? No. Exfoliating? I'm not sure it does all that much....While I do notice a softness and slight smoothness immediately after I wash it off, after a day or so you can't tell I did anything. I get better results on my face from an exfoliating cloth. I would say if you're over 50-55 ish, (around there, or older) you probably won't see you much difference. It's just not worth $20 for the minuscule difference. I'm about half way through the bottle and I can't say the age spots are any lighter. I do use other products such as moisturisers, etc and adding this "peel" to the mix just feels like I'm throwing money down the drain. I'll give it 3 stars (good) because I'm not ready to call it worthless I'm just saying us older ladies probably won't see the benefits women in their 30s and 40s will.ALSO. Someone mentioned glitter. While I do notice a pretty teal green shimmer within the product, I wouldn't call it glitter... But that might be the "glow" some ppl claim to have. Plus the color greenish teal would also mask reddish tones in the skin. But that's not quite what this product is for ... By that I mean you don't apply to your face to use as a color corrector or concealer So .... I don't really know.I probably won't buy it again unless there's incredible improvement with the last half of this bottle.

Only used 1 time but feels like it is working as described. Only issue the instructions are not on bottle so read the box before tossing and you need to squeeze the neck to dispense it, not the actual bottle. Will update later after 4 uses. But so far, feels like it's working. It is a small bottle so you can't expect alot use out of the small amount.

I brought 3 of the Dark Spot Peels because initially thought it would work. I have been using this product for 3 weeks consistently, putting the peel on 4x times a week and have NOT seen any results yet. None of my dark spots have faded, which is disappointing because I have 1 more bottle left. This was absolutely a waste of money!

Came across this from a random article where a celebrity suggested it. I don’t typically jump on the bandwagon so quickly but after reading about the product I was curious. This does not disappoint. I’ll admit I haven’t been using it long enough to see a huge difference in my hyperpigmentation (I have a few light patches). I am also using this in conjunction with other products that help with dark spots. However, the biggest surprise what how incredible my skin looked and felt immediately after using it - so smooth and even. I have sensitive skin and recommend following all product instructions, but have not had any issues using this product. This is hands down the best new product I have added to my skincare regime.
