It is a very nice smallish radio ideal for elderly peoplelike meThe sound is brilliant if but a bit load but is easy to operate.Looks good and the buttons are big enough for me.

Excellent Purchase.
Excellent product. The dual powering can be used during power cuts which is very useful. Love the manual control. Highly recommend .

Not bad for the price.
This is a decent radio considering the price. The FM quality is very good as is the quality when using a usb stick which is also very good. The volume knob is a bit unpredictable, but if you use it slowly rather than quickly it is okay. Only downside for me is the AM quality is poor and has a constant buzzing noise which is not due to my reception. If you dont listen on AM then this radio is actually good for the price and the USB and sd card feature are very handy.

FM good, AM ,not great.
Bit of a mixture, this one.FM reception is excellent, with plenty of volume and clear tone.Medium wave is poor, lots of weird background noises. Shortwave does pick up stations, but m.wave breaks through.Depends what you want it for.

Don't buy it.
As it had a quite a few 4 stars I bought it. Only £21 but don't expect too much. Tuning knob not really great. Volume knob too sensitive. Reception is poor and crackles in background. Can't really find the best frequency for radio2 for example. Altogether, you get what you pay for. So it's been returned as Not fit for purpose.Avoid..

Great little radio.
Great little radio,really pleased with the sound quality, extendable aerial, which allows excellent reception. USB port and works with 4 AA batteries or mains.Volume is good. Carry handle as well.Perfect portable radio.Recommended.
