Living in a flat, one of my biggest concerns was cat odour, but this litter box has completely resolved that issue. My home stays fresh, and I no longer have to worry about unpleasant smells.One of the best features is the waste disposal system—I only need to change the waste bag every 5 to 6 days. This has made my life so much easier compared to scooping several times a day. The automation and efficiency of the Pura Max 2 have truly improved my daily routine.I also highly recommend the premium package. The included litter mat is very effective at catching litter tracking (I use BioKats Diamond cat litter), helping to keep my floors clean. The smart spray deodoriser also makes a noticeable difference in keeping the litter box smelling fresh.The cleaning process, while initially seeming daunting due to the size of the litter box, turned out to be surprisingly quick and easy. I do a deep clean once a month, and that’s enough to keep the box fresh and hygienic for my kitties.I did run into an issue with Amazon, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to offer much help. However, PETKIT’s customer service was outstanding! They assigned me an appointee who handled my issue seamlessly and efficiently. Their excellent service has only reinforced my confidence in the brand.Overall, I highly recommend the PETKIT Pura Max 2. It keeps my cats happy, my flat odour-free, and my life so much easier. I was a little bit sceptical as this is definitely not a cheap option - which is why I've decided to post a review as it might help - but given my cat really doesn't like travel, being able to leave him overnight for occasional business trips knowing he has access to a clean litter tray seems a kinder option so I gave it a try....The product is very well packed - but make sure you've cleared some room to unpack as the box is large!My cat climbed in straight away to investigate and, once litter and a bag was in, he started using it for the intended purpose almost immediately.I use the app to manage the settings - I've set a 5min delay after use before cleaning to allow wee to properly clump. There is an option to get the tray to rock a few times to ensure waste is properly covered - it would be a great update to the app to have this only happen if the cat spent longer than say 1min in the tray as its not really needed for wee and it does take a couple of mins longer - this may be more of an issue with multi-cat households.The other issue I've found is my cat does tend to wee on the back sieve which can then coat with litter clumps. I'm monitoring but it does seem that these fall off eventually but a cheap dish brush would likely work well to knock them off if needed.One thing I've learnt, don't try to be clever and top up the litter whilst it's cleaning - you have to pop it in maintenance mode or the tray will detect the weight change and, thinking a cat is in there, will stop.Replacing the litter bag is nice and easy. I did it after 6 days - the used litter was well distributed and there was no smell from the unit prior to opening the tray and that was no worse than one gets from dealing with the normal cat litter - only less frequent. I can't comment on wider cleaning ease yet as not had to do this so far (had it for 1 week) but I can certainly confirm that it's really nice not having to empty a litter tray first thing when I'm trying to dash to work!

Be careful with the black cover. Don't forget like me that it is only used to change the sand. 8.5 kg may be a bit challenging for cats. But it can still be manageable.
