Good quality
Our favorite marinara hands down! Great quality, especially for the price. Not too acidic for my husband's stomach either!

Fantastic value marinara [no oil!]
Kudos to Whole Foods for making this oil-free product available. It's apparently become some sort of dogma among spaghetti sauce makers that they have to put olive oil in it, and then when you go to the store to get marinara you get oil whether you want it or not. I don't want it! This product just gives people like me what they want: a good-tasting marinara sauce that doesn't have a bunch of added junk. In the words of the famous physician, Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr.: NO OIL! You won't even miss it.Honestly, olive oil doesn't do a thing for marinara sauce. This is a great value, and I just wish it was available on the shelf in the local supermarket.

WHERE DO THE TOMATOES COME FROM?????
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: WHERE DO THE TOMATOES COME FROM????? Are they shipped from China to the US where the pasta sauce is made? The marinara sauce takes good and appears to be of decent quality.

The ONLY affordable organic pasta sauce w/o sugar and oil?
I do not understand why it's so difficult to find delicious pasta sauce without refined sugar, nor refined oil. This product not only has these two things covered, but it's also organic and affordable. It blows my mind to see how expensive some other brands are. I would make my own from scratch before paying their crazy prices of $6 to $8 for a single jar of pasta sauce. And many of those expensive brands aren't even made with organic tomatoes!Leaving out the oil makes this a much better option in my opinion bc it's such an easy way to limit consumption of empty calories, w/o reducing the quantity eaten.I don't miss the sugar found in most other sauces either. Tomatoes are naturally sweet enough for me.The 365 brand does a nice job w the herbs/flavor. It is not overly spicy -- though you could certainly add more basil, oregano, and/or red pepper flakes, etc, if you prefer. Doing so can work especially well for family members w differing preferences when it comes to levels or spiciness.I usually buy 5 jars each time I visit Whole Foods (or have it delivered). It does not need to refrigerated until opened, so I store the extras in my pantry until I need them. This is, by far, my favorite jarred pasta sauce. I've tried many different brands/types in the past, and overall, there is simply no close 2nd place.

Price increase
I used to purchase this because I am seriously budgeting but the recent price increase of over $1.00 have taken it right out of my price range. It’s a decent sauce with a mild flavor and I spice it up with a bit of ground beef and add whatever I want to increase the flavor. I use it as a base sauce or when I want a vegetarian meal. I say this sauce is pretty versatile as a base sauce but its flavor is pretty mild. I don’t get heart burn with this sauce but I add a teaspoon of brown sugar to cut the acid and that’s maybe the difference. It’s well sealed and a bit difficult to open for those who have problems with the hand but I’ve been using a bit or flat rubber for a better grip and that does the trick. This sauce is very mild on a heat scale and burns easily so just set it to simmering and you’re good.

Favorite marinara!
Though the sodium is a bit high, the flavor is great with fantastic ingredients.

Basic Marina
This product did not wow me. It is just a basic marina sauce but I was expecting a little more flavor, definitely needs some spices to doctor it up! Hearty chunks of tomato throughout. Price of the product was comparable and I liked the packaging, but the flavor just did not stick out to me.
