Maamoul, Date Filled Cookies (Halwani Bros) 480g (16.9oz)Yummy! So glad to find these online here. I don't have any other place I could buy them. These were in good condition when they arrived.Very simple ingredients, especially if you compare them to what gets put in a lot of American food.These Saudi maamool contain: Wheat flour, dates, butter, sugar, yeast.They may seem dry, if you haven't had them before, but they're a bit buttery to make up for it, and it's soo good with the date filling. Definitely a great cookie with milk or coffee! They do crumble easy, (there's no eggs in them), so you have to eat them carefully.Recommended! They don't last long in my kitchen when they do arrive. I eat them up quickly, they're so good!

My family has eaten these for a long, long time and I buy them from Amazon because I care for my mom who is 88 and has dementia. I can’t travel to my Arabic grocery to buy them now. The ones dated to expire, 11/19 are starting to get very crumbly and dry!!! I received one box with the new expiration of 3/20 and they are delicious! Please rid your stock or reduce the price drastically on the ones due to expire 11/19. Thank you!

I read several reviews of this product, some of which noted that the maamoul is exceptionally DRY. I foolishly assumed that these comments were from people who were unfamiliar with this kind of treat. I was apparently WRONG. These cookies are INCREDIBLY dry...crumbly...and practically INEDIBLE! I am astounded that ANY company would put a product like this on the market. UNFORTUNATELY, I bought four boxes for use at a wedding party...along with OTHER similar products by a different manufacturer (Thank God!). DON'T buy this sorry excuse for maamoul! One bite and you'll have your own little DESERT in your mouth...instead of a DESSERT!

I had these cookies sent to three different areas of the US. They all arrived quickly and without problems. The cookies themselves are great! They have a flakey, homemade feeling crust and a tasty date filling. The balance of cookie to crust is good to my taste. Each cookie is individually wrapped, which helps protect the delicate crust.

Finally opened. They are delish BUT THEY DIDN’t travel well - many ate broken & crumbly

I ordered this for my mom as I know the brand and have enjoyed this product myself. When it was delivered it was a completely different brand - it may be good and then it may be bad, who knows - but I like to get what I ordered*** Update - my mom reported back that the cookies were really good!

They taste great. They can be Presented like cookies. Work great also as gifts. They come as 12 pieces each one individually packaged in a small package. All of them are placed in one box. The date quality is excellent.I approve.

the cookies are delicious but the last two orders from different sellers have been heavily scented and food products should not have perfumes or fragrances permeating everything....amazon said they are going to check out the problem.
